Purple Mound, 2622m, Lake Louise, BC 🇨🇦 We’ve skied named peaks, mounts and mountains, points, needles, ridges, and hills— and countless translations of these terms in other languages— but we had never skied from the summit of a named mound. Thanks to @richburkley for showing us around @skilouise 🙏 and taking us on the Purple Mound tour ⛷️👍💯 It was a cool loop through beautiful mountains, fun skiing, and a memorable day! One thing remains consistent @tedmahon and #alwaysgo 🏃‍♀️❤️🙏 Back in the day, we had no idea what the Six Star Medal even was, but Chicago, Boston, NYC, Berlin, (and others) - seemed like cool places and courses to check out. Then throw in the discovery of trail running and ultramarathons, and it would take a little while to get back to New York again, London, and Tokyo.
