It took a little while, but I finally managed to get the trip reports from our 14er ski descents back online.
On the summit. Mount Wilson stands behind and the Ridge of Gendarmes is between. A 2004 ski descent of the North Face of Mount Wilson from Navajo Basin.
Once off the summit you ski down the very upper section of the East Face before reaching the start of the North Couloir. Another great early season ski day on Castle Peak.

I sent this to a slew of Vail people, so hopefully some of them will show up. Nevertheless, I’m sure you guys will have a great turnout. I’m not sure of Kristine & myself will make it as we leave for North Carolina early the next morning, but would be fun to see the presentation and meet you guys.

Honestly, I bet Vail won’t be too too bad on that Friday. Definitely more crowded than your neck of the woods, but not outrageous, hopefully. You guys will have fun. I didn’t get a pass this year, but I have friday afternoons off and may just skin up to the top of the gondola for a run down. Be fun to meet up.
