We skied Dyer Mountain, 13,855 ft., for a third time, as part of the course of the Father Dyer Skimo Race in Leadville.
The inaugural Father Dyer Postal Route ski mountaineering race took place last weekend in the mountains outside of Leadville. You might have to add this one to your calendar next season.
Dyer Mountain, a Centennial 13er outside of Leadville, adjacent to Mount Sherman, makes for a pretty fun ski descent, with access from leadville all winter long.
