I recently completed my 10th Hardrock 100, finishing in 29 hours and 26 minutes which was fast enough for 7th place. That comes to 1000 miles I’ve run on the ultra-marathon course in the San Juans.

A 12 mile trail running loop outside of Marble, CO through Buckskin Basin, over three passes and through two forks of Avalanche Creek.
A big lolloipop loop around Cronin Peak with several bicentennial 13ers and lots of time high on ridges.
The Moonshine Couloir on Mount Arkansas might be the most committing line off a high 13er in the Tenmile/Mosquito Range
The big East Face of Snowmass Mountain is one of the best 14er ski descents in the Elk Mountains.
Easy access from Highway 91 by Fremont Pass, a gentle approach up the valley, and an interesting couloir that keeps you on your feet all make Mount Tweto a worthy spring ski descent.
