Last year I had the opportunity to be a part of an amazing mentorship program that the Aspen Middle School conducts annually with their 6th-grade students. I was approached by an impressive 11-year old girl who asked if I would be willing to participate in the program as her mentor for ski mountaineering.
Last spring, a film crew from Red Bull joined us on a few of our Centennial Ski Project peaks. They were producing an installment for the Faces of Dav series about Chris Davenport for Red Bull TV.

Saw that rappel error, Philip. I’ve learned if they can just get most of the story right it should be considered a good reporting job. I also didn’t ski every peak with her, Christy did a couple without me.

Many congratulations. Photography is good but I would have enjoyed a longer piece…especially for a cover story. I hope you (plural) write a book one day to complement and augment the blog.

Great cover and fun article; I’m glad they got an action photo too. Really like that Capitol Peak shot (but yikes).
