Rio Grande Pyramid
An epic Type II fun day on a remote 13er in the San Juans. There were definitely some lesson learned.
Coronation Day – Len Shoemaker Peak – 13,631 ft.
I skied Len Shoemaker Peak back in 2008 with some legendary locals.
Crystal Peak – 13,852 ft.
The 13er Crystal Peak, in the valley above Francie’s Cabin outside of Breckenridge makes for an outstanding spring ski.
The East Face of Thunder Pyramid – 13,832 ft.
This was nothing short of a spectacular day. Chris Davenport and I agreed that skiing Thunder Pyramid’s steep Southeast Face was one of our favorite steep lines in all of the Elk Mountains.
Mount Edwards – 13,850 ft.
The south facing Edwardian Couloir on the 13er Mount Edwards make for a sweet backcountry ski in the Front Range mountains of Colorado.

Fletcher Mountain – 13,951 ft.
A mid-winter ski descent of Fletcher Mountain, in the Ten mile Range near Quandary Peak.
Mount Hope – 13,933 ft.
A ski descent of the southeast side of Mount Hope from Sheep Gulch and Clear Creek Road.
