When last weekend’s weather forecast wasn’t looking conducive to outdoor activities around Aspen, Christy and I decided to head to Moab.
The inaugural Aspen Backcountry Marathon was this past Saturday. Christy and I both took part in the fledgling event that saw 240 starters, a majority of which seemed to be from out of town, an impressive number considering it’s first year status. Sunday was the inaugural running of the Leadville Silver Rush 50 miler. Christy’s first 100 miler is only 6 weeks away (Wasatch Front 100), it sounded like good training.
